Dennis Craig Carder

Dennis Craig Carder, 62, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on May 30, 2012 at his residence.He was born October 26, 1949, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Paul Carder and Eva Lee Sheets Carder Lemon.Dennis was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of the VFW and Sons of the Legion. He was a car salesman and recently worked for Larry Simmons. He loved camping and his dog.He is survived by his companion, Karon Stalnaker of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three sons, Brian (Kristy) Carder of Tampa, Fla., Michael Carder and Kevin Carder, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Jill (Bob) Barnes of Vienna, W.Va.; three step-sisters, Lee Ann Maul, Katy Cain and Janet Bosley, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one step-brother, Burl “Smitty” Lemon of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his special dog, Ned.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Carder.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Mr. Clarence Mathess officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
