Deloris June Schofield

Deloris June “Mama Dee” Schofield, 72, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Feb. 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born March 1, 1938 in Little Hocking, Ohio a daughter of the late Wilmer Carlston and Kathryn Louise Reynolds Beall. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading and playing cards. She had been a member of the Camden Avenue Church of God. As a hobby she collected frog figurines. She is survived by four children, Michael W. Schofield of Parkersburg, W.Va., Kathy J. Schofield of Buchanan, W.Va., William L. Schofield of Elizabeth, W.Va., and Randall D. Schofield of Belpre, Ohio; a sister, Patricia Johnson of Belpre, Ohio; three brothers, Roscoe B. Beall of Indiana, Phillip V. Beall of Florida, and Robert C. Beall of Belpre, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Rachel, Jodi (who was raised by Deloris), Mathew, Randall, Brandon, Josh, Jonathan, Jessica, Ashley, and William; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Donald and Tamitha Lott and their five children and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Schofield in 2003; a daughter, Rita Renee Schofield; a brother, Roy Beall; and an infant brother. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor David Hyde officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesdayat the funeral home.
