Delores Jean Sheltz

Delores Jean “Jeanie” Sheltz, 72 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away April 6, 2013 at The Willows Center. She was born March 25, 1941 in Parkersburg daughter of the late Raymond W. and Pauline P. Gordon Thorn. She was a 1960 graduate of Parkersburg High School and retired from Goldsmit & Black after 32 years of service as an Office manager. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews and reading. She was Methodist by faith.Delores is survived by her husband of 23 years, Danny H. Sheltz; two sons, Danny Sheltz II (Tammy) of Roswell, GA and Brian Keith Sheltz (Kristy) of Anderson, S.C.; two brothers, Raymond W. Thorn (Beverly) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Randy L. Thorn(Susie) of Fleming, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and best friend, Jolette Lott.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Thorn and Janet Roberts; and one brother, Richard M. Thorn.Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va.Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in Delores' memory.
