Delmer Gene Stowasser, 85, of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away Wednesday,April 3, 2013 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born March 7, 1928 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Mark and Roma Nida Stowasser and resided in Milton, W.Va. prior to moving to Williamstown, W.Va.Delmer worked at Fenton Art Glass as a Glassmaker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star. His hobbies included painting landscapes and woodworking.He is survived by two daughters, Toni Mullenix (Michael) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Trina Gay Reed (John) of Monument, Colorado; five grandchildren, Jorun Picciano (Nick), Jamie McBride (Kraig), Matt Hively (Dianna),ZachReed (Tia) and Matt Reed (Christina); and seven great-grandchildren, Jacob Hively, Micky Hively, Jacynda Hively, Lucia Picciano, Megan Hively, Colton McBride, Twila Reed and Josh Picciano.In addition to his parents, Delmer was preceded in death by his wife, Dorie; his sisters; and his only son, Gene.Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Bob Alfred officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, W.Va. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
