Debra Ann Haught

September 28, 1954 — April 27, 2024

Debra Ann Haught, 69, of Walker WV, passed away April 27, 2024, surrounded by family at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was a 1972 graduate from Parkersburg South High School.  After graduating from Parkersburg Community College, she spent 35 years as a billing clerk at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital from which she later retired. She was an active member of Walker United Methodist Church and the Spouses Pastoral Support Group. When she had free time, Debbie loved to spend time with her family and cheer on her favorite sports team, the Thundering Herd. She was a tried-and-true Marshall fan and regularly attended games with her mother and grandchildren. Debbie was a sincere and gentle soul. She loved hummingbirds, and the flowers in her hanging baskets; yet her greatest treasure was her family and the time she spent with them. Her warm heart, kind spirit, and unwavering love will be forever cherished by all who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rick L. Haught; her sister, Rebecca Lamb (Wayne Lauria); three children, Shawn Haught (Melinda), Jody Harper (Chris) and Kevin Haught (Moriah); and her grandchildren, Tori Haught, Austin Harper, Gavin Haught (Hannah), Garrett Haught, Christian Haught, Shylah Harper, Aiden Haught and Vivian Haught. Her legacy of love is further extended by her great-grandchildren, Starleah, Winter, Alister, Penelope, Archibald, and Conrad.

She is preceded in rest by her father, “Buddy” Roy Rhodes, and mother, Norma Jean King Rhodes.
