David Wayne Lynn

David Wayne Lynn, 72, of Washington, W.Va., passed away on November 9, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born January 9, 1942, in Parkersburg, W.Va., son of the late Oscar David and Mamie Bliss Lynn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Church of Christ.David is survived by his wife, Darlene Jones Lynn; three daughters, Stephanie Godfrey and Deborah McIntosh, both of Belpre, Ohio, and Susan Allen of Florida; one son, Thomas Lynn of Belpre; one sister, Linda Luker; two brothers, Larry Lynn and Steven Lynn; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant son; and one sister, Barbara Cooper.Full military graveside rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Elkins, W.Va.The family wishes to thank Marietta Memorial Hospital and Emeritus of Marietta for their wonderful care of David.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg will be assisting the family with arrangements.
