David Jay Lawrentz

David Jay Lawrentz, 48, of Washington, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at his residence.He was born September 18, 1964 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late, James M. lawrentz, Jr. and Elizabeth Hudson Lawrentz. David graduated from Parkersburg South High School with the class of 1982. David loved serving his country and served with the Army National Guard. David liked to hunt and fish. His daughter, Hannah, was his greatest joy.He is survived by one daughter, Hannah Renee Lawrentz, of Belpre, Ohio; two brothers, James M. Lawrentz, III and Gregory Scott Lawrentz (Alicia), both of Washington, W.Va.; one niece Jamie Lawrentz; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Randy Kochersperger presiding. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg with full Military honors by American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg.Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
