Darold Guy Yeager

Darold “Jack” Yeager, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at his residence.He was born Nov. 9, 1936, in Lincoln County, W.Va., a son of the late Guy and Alice R. Abshire Yeager.Jack was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the 529th Special MP Unit who helped in the building of the Berlin Wall. Jack retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.He is survived by two daughters, June Becwar of Cumberland, Ohio and Brenda Griggs (Bob) of Houston, Tex.; one brother, Bill Yeager (Dana) of Barboursville, W.Va.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a special niece, Beth Ann Yeager; and a special nephew, Curtis Yeager.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. Adkins Yeager; one son, Bryan Yeager; one brother, Harold Yeager; and one sister, Ann Neal.At Jack's request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va.
