Daniel Kavanagh Moore

Daniel K. Moore 79,a longtime resident of Vienna, W.Va. passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 2, 2014.He was born October 20, 1934 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Hugh and Anna Kavanagh Moore.Daniel retired from E.I. DuPont Washington Works in 1996 and was a partner in the former Vienna Auto Parts Store. He was Catholic by faith and was a United States Army veteran having been discharged in 1959.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis June McMillan Moore; four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law and caregiver, Betty J. Barrett and her husband, Paul of Vienna, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.Mr. Moore's wishes were for cremation. There will be no visitation or services.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Vienna is assisting the family with arrangements.
