Daniel Woodroe Metz

Daniel W. Metz, 66, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away May 21, 2011, at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born May 20, 1945, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ralph and Elsie Mae Wagoner Metz.He was self employed in his construction business and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping family and friends.Surviving is his brother, Ralph Metz (Barbara) of St. Marys, W.Va.; four sisters, twin sister, Anna Satterfield (Ron Conner) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Shirley Armel (John) of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, Donna Arbygasse (Virgil) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Debbie Thompson (Pat) of Elizabeth, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. Interment will follow at Middle Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Deerwalk, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
