Daniel William McVey

Daniel William McVey, 58, of Parkersburg passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at home. He was born July 26, 1966 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Neal J. and Clara D. Adams McVey.

He was a former employee of Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority. He enjoyed collecting model cars, watching wrestling, football, and spending time with his family. Daniel didn’t know a stranger. He was a great friend, a proud dad, and grandpa.

He is survived by his loving wife, Daisy McVey and his children, Henson, of the home and Courtney Whiting (David); his precious grandson, Cameron; his brother, Dennis (Barb); many nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Roger, and sister, Darlene.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday, April 18th and from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
