Dallas R Clayton

Dallas R. Clayton, 84 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 30, 2011 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born November 2, 1926 in Frank, W.Va. (Pocahontas County), a daughter of the late George A. and Mary Rachel Flenner Buterbaugh. Dallas was a 1945 graduate of Green Bank High School in Pocahontas County; she was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Grafton, W.Va.; and she enjoyed painting and her grandchildren.Surviving are her two daughters, Cindy Zickefoose and husband, Rick of Parkersburg, W.Va.; her grandchildren, Dallas Kay and Sonny Ray Zickefoose, and Colleen Clayton and her husband, Randy Gaines of Mt. Vernon, WA and their children, Aaron and Ashtynn Gaines; one sister, Anita M. Geldbaugh of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Robert E. Buterbaugh of Akron, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews in Minn. and Ohio.In addition to her parents, Dallas was preceded in death by her husband, Ray P. Clayton in 1992; two sisters, Phyllis L. Long and Letitia Pearl Kittle; and one brother, George Buterbaugh, Jr.Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Jones Cemetery, Fairmont, W.Va. with Pastor Norman Butler officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
