Corda Faye Booth

Corda Faye Booth, 74 went home to be with her loving Savior February 26, 2012 at the Arbors in Marietta.She was born March 21, 1937 in Palestine, W.Va., and was the only daughter of the late O.Claire and Leafie Corbitt Dotson.Corda was a 1954 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She had previously been employed through the senior citizens program, she worked at the Veterans Museum, and The Parkersburg Art Center. She had held several telemarketing positions and had been the dispatcher for the Dept. OfNatural Resources for many years.She attended the Rosemar United Methodist Church where she was the pianist. She had also played for Red Hill United Methodist Church and the Lauckport United Methodist Church.She is survived by her only child, Kimberly D. Bollinger and her husband, David of Williamstown, W.Va.; two grandsons, Brian N. and Jason D. Bollinger;great-grandsons, Noah, Jacob, and Benjamin Bollinger; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Bollinger; her special friend and companion Johnnie, and her beloved dog Joe Joe.Funeral services for Corda will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lauckport United Methodist Church, Camden Ave. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Reverend Kenneth Nolan and Reverend Norman Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to Marie's House or The Parkersburg Humane Society.
