Cody Alan Philpott

Cody Alan Philpott, 15 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 9,2014. He was born August 20, 1999 in Parkersburg a son of Alan Philpott and Ruth Lewis of Parkersburg. He was a student at Parkersburg High School. He enjoyed playing games and the outdoors.In addition to his parents he is survived by four sisters, Alisha Lewis, Shannon Philpott, Kendra Pryor, and Kaitlyn Pryor all of Parkersburg; three brothers, John Philpott, Alan Philpott Jr., and Jonathan Stringer II all of Parkersburg; grandmother, Lynn West of Davisville; four uncles, Donald Jones of Belleville, W.Va., Ronald Jones of Walker, W.Va., Billy Vandale and James Vandale of Parkersburg; and two aunts, Helena Jones and Chris Philpott of Parkersburg.He was preceded in death by a brother, Wyatt Keith Philpott; and grandparents, Melvin West and Dennis and Georgina Philpott.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV 26101 with Jim Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Cemetery in Belleville, W.Va. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to time of services Wed. at the funeral home.
