Clifford Lee Wilson Sr., 80, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on November 25, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born February 26, 1933, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late William and Mamie Myers Wilson.Clifford was retired from Allegheny Freight Lines after 40 years and was a lifetime teamster. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and collecting hats. The joy of his life was his family, his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia Woody Wilson; his children, Shelia (Leonard) Sargent of Washington, W.Va., Margaret (Michael) Vincent of Parkersburg, W.Va., Clifford L. (Jenney) Wilson Jr. of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Patricia Posey of Parkersburg, W.Va., David (Regina) Wilson and Greta (Kenny) Schaad both of Washington, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Howard, Glenn, Gordon, Bill and Bob Wilson; and infant son, Paul Andrew Wilson.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va.Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the funeral home.
