Claude Edward Rainer

Claude Edward Rainer, 62, of Beverly, Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2011, at his residence.He was born May 17, 1949, in Joy, Ohio, a son of Alvin and Myrta McGrew Rainer of Stockport, Ohio.Claude was a member of the Laborers Local Union 639 in Marietta, Ohio; a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Russell Chadwick Post 389 in Beverly and F.O.E. Aerie 2952 in Caldwell, Ohio; he enjoyed working on cars and traveling and camping in his motor home.He is survived by his wife, Donna E. Ball Rainer whom he married October 22, 1990; one daughter, Polly Rainer of Whipple, Ohio; one son, Paul Rainer of Morgantown, W.Va.; two step-daughters, Sherry Nolan (Rick) of Beverly, Ohio, and Angie Clark of Beverly, Ohio; three step-sons, Randy Montgomery (Nikki), Brian Combs (Dawn), and Rob Combs (Chris) all of Beverly, Ohio; three sisters, Judy Baker (Rick) of Sharon, Ohio, Karen Largent of Sharon, Ohio, and Marie Marquis (Greg) of Dale, Ohio;five brothers, Charles Statts, of Galion, Ohio, Tommy Statts (Sandy) of Galion, Ohio, Roger Rainer (Pam) of Caldwell, Ohio, Ron Rainer of Beverly, Ohio, and Randy Rainer of Dexter City, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Orville and Cathy Ball of McConnelsville, Ohio, several grandchildren,several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremations Services of Belpre is assisting the Rainer family.There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Stockport Church of Christ in Stockport, Ohio.
