Clarice Lambert Troisi, 88, of Vienna, W.Va., died peacefully in her home Monday morning. Her loving husband, Joseph Troisi M.D., family and friends were with her. Clarice was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Edna Gorrell Lambert of Ellenboro, W.Va. She graduated from Harrisville High School in 1942 and married Joseph Troisi, M.D. in 1945. Together they raised five children in Brooklyn, New York. Clarice and her husband returned recently to West Virginia where three of their five children live.Clarice was as patient, gentle, and loving a person as God ever created. She displayed a keen wit and cheerful spirit her entire life and enjoyed music, cooking, a good book, and caring for her family.In addition to her parents, Clarice was preceded in death by her sister, Constance Whitmore of Harrisonburg, Va.She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years; her children, Gerri Torres (George) of Vienna, W.Va., Joseph Troisi (Thomasine) of St. Marys, W.Va., Ralph Troisi (Pat) of Waverly, W.Va., Gloria Larkin (Tim) of Bridgeport, CT., and Mary Troisi of Jamaica Plain, MA; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.Viewing will be held at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass in her honor will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Parkersburg, W.Va. 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, Msgr. Joseph Peterson presiding, with internment at the Ellenboro Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
