Christopher L. Koon, 35, of Parkersburg, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 28, 2011, at his home.Christopher was born on Nov. 8, 1975, to the proud parents Gerry and Rebecca Koon, both of Parkersburg.Chris was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle – he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amos and Heloise “Josephine” Koon and Ima “Rosazetta” DeQuasie; three uncles; and one aunt.He is survived by his parents; one sister and brother-in-law, Angelia and Michael Baxter; two nieces, Keyhleigh Koon and Nalani Koon; two nephews, James Valvo and Cody Valvo of Chesterfield, Va.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Jim Lynch officiating.The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
