Charles Edward Starcher

Charles E. StarcherCharles Edward Starcher, 71, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on Feb. 18, 2014 at the WV Veteran's Hospital in Clarksburg.He was born Feb. 23, 1942, in Calhoun Co., W.Va., a son of the late Harley and Dorothy Connally Starcher.Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.He retired from Save-A-Tool in Grantsville, W.Va.He is survived by his wife Annabelle Hathaway Starcher; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Masters (Kenneth) of Parkersburg; two step-sons, Jack Whited (Delores) of Grantsville and Lewis Whited of Mineral Wells; one sister, Joyce Bouvea of Madison, Ohio; one brother, Robert Wayne Starcher (Eula) of Parkersburg; one half-brother, Golden Starcher of Sheridan, Ohio; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.Memorial services will be held 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 19th and Park St, Parkersburg with Daniel Morikone officiating.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be assisting the family with arrangements.
