Charles Russell Braden, 64 of Belpre, Ohio passed away Oct. 11, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends.He was born February 17, 1949 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a son of Marian Hitchcock Simonton and the late William C. Braden. He was retired from Mark Christopher after 35 years of service. He was coordinator of the Welch's Pool League and owner/operator of KC's Lounge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Pap), son and was a generous and loving friend to many.Charles is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Pamela Braden; three sons, Charles Braden Jr., MichaelBraden, and StephenBonson all of Parkersburg; four daughters, Sherry Bonson, Shelia Bonson, Stephanie (Brian) Weaver, and Sharlene Swaim all of Parkersburg; three sisters, Evelyne Duckworth, Kathy Dye, and Julie Bonnett all of Parkersburg; four brothers, Jerry Braden and Clarence Wires both of Parkersburg, Kenny Braden of Marysville, Ohio, and Mike Braden of Charlotte, NC; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, William C. Braden; a sister, Judy Nageleisen; a grandson, Stephen R. Parsons; and a nephew, Joshua R. Uppole.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Burial will follow at Harper Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
