Charles Harland Snider

Charles Harland “Buck” Snider, 75, of Davisville, W.Va., passed away on June 10, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born December 30, 1937, in Wirt Co., W.Va., a son of the late Dallas and Hazel Davis Snider.Buck retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways and enjoyed old cars and cruising. He was a Baptist by faith.He is survived by his wife, Wanda M. Snider; three sons, Mike (Cheri) Snider of Harrisville, W.Va., Steve (Sue) Snider of Sandusky, Ohio and Mark (Mary) Snider of Elizabeth, W.Va.; three step-children, Lisa Hardman, Teresa (Jason) Duckworth and Buddy Hardman, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; ten grandchildren, Adam, Shane, Josh, Christina, Valerie, Michael, Katelyn, Samuel, Jordan and Coby; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Tiffany, Christopher and Tavon.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard “Duke” Snider and Robert “Dan” Snider; and one step-granddaughter, Amy Shaffer.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
