Charles Rollins Almond

Charles Rollins Almond, 78 of Coolville, Ohio passed away April 14, 2013 at his residence.He was born April 17, 1934 in Bristol, Va.,son of the late Clarence Almond and Grace Morris Almond Fauson. He worked for 44 years as an electrician and retired as a Master Electrician. He built and flew remote controlled airplanes and enjoyed painting, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Spreading Truth Ministries.Charles is survived by his son, Charles “C. W.” Almond of Vienna, W.Va.; his grandson, Jason Almond of Vienna, W.Va.; and an uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Wanda Morris of Abington, Va.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Eva Almond and a brother, Joseph Robert Almond.A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Spreading Truth Ministries on Core Road in Parkersburg with Pastor Ralph Tisdale officiating. There will be visitation one half hour before the service.Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. is assisting the family.
