Catherine Anne Wagner, 84 of Parkersburg, W.Va. (formerly of Vienna) passed away June 21, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born January 3, 1930 in Ritchie County, W.Va. a daughter of the late Henry L. and Bertha D. Starr Ferguson. She was a proud graduate of DeSales Heights Academy and was a founding member of St. Michaels Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing cards and travelling. She especially loved golfing and was a member of Worthington Golf Club.Catherine is survived by five daughters, Lisa A. Boone of Nantucket, MA, Julia Lawson (Fred) of York, SC, Melanie Conley (Jim) of Vienna, W.Va., Jennifer Sullivan (Glenn) of Norman OK, and Kelly Furr (Chris) of Little Hocking, OH; two sons, David Wagner (Tracy) of Parkersburg, and Mark Wagner (Teresa) of Vienna; a sister, Margaret Kranz of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, Robert D. Wagner, Jeremy Boone, Joshua Boone, Abby Cook, Alyson Lawson, Alex Conley, Michael Conley, Mark Wagner Jr., Chris Wagner, Levi Furr, and Catherine Sullivan; ten great-grandchildren, Dorian Conley, Emma Boone, Ruby Boone, Morgan Wagner, John Wagner, Madison Wagner, Luke Wagner, Sydnie Lawson, David Harper, and Wesley Harper; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Wagner who passed away in 1998; a daughter, Kristen Wagner; three sisters, Gladys Champenois, Mary Hengler, and Christine Schiller; and a brother, Philip Ferguson.Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father John Gallagher as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna.Memorials may be made in memory of Catherine to the American Cancer Society @ 3901 Briscoe Road Parkersburg, WV 26104-4451.
