Carter Ray Allen, 6 days old, passed away on March 18, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.He was born March 12, 2014 in Morgantown, a son of Tim Allen and Vanessa Gilchrist of Davisville, W.Va.In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Carson Allen; paternal grandparents, Jim Allen of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Deborah Pennell of Pennsylvania; maternal grandparents, Ed and Julie Gilchrist of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and great-maternal grandparents, Evelyn Gilchrist of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Ken and Lauretta Miller of Elizabeth, W.Va.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Greg Varndell.Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
