Carolyn Nadine Mulcay, 84, of Parkersburg, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1936, in Hico, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Jane Allport Haga. Carolyn was retired from the Wood County Board of Education with over 25 years of service. She was a volunteer for over 30 years at the Blennerhassett Island where she was a docent and was a devoted Christian. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas “Tom” Mulcay; her four children, John Mulcay (Leslie) of Parkersburg, Nancy Lemon (George) of Elizabeth, Annette Englehart (William) of Marblehead, OH and Joan Hudkins (George) of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Patrick Mulcay, Andrea Spurlock (Tyler), Mark Lemon (Carol), Jamie Lemon (Steve Cline), Michael Lemon (Kelly), Luke Hudkins and Rachel Staats (Jason); and five great-grandchildren, Baylen Mulcay, Knox Mulcay, Sophia Staats, Catherine Lemon and Elizabeth Lemon. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Haga. At Carolyn’s request there will be no visitation or services.
