Carolyn Alma Gilmore

Carolyn Alma Gilmore, 76 of Milton, W.Va., formerly of Vienna, W.Va, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Teays Valley Nursing Center.She was born July 3, 1937 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Howard and Alma Cummons. Carolyn was a homemaker. She collected angels and loved her cats. She was a member of the Milton Baptist Church.Surviving are her three children, Patricia Easter of Milton, W.Va., Chris Gilmore of Davisville, W.Va., and Allen Gilmore of Culloden, W.Va.; two brothers, Joe Cummons of Parkersburg and David Cummons of Charleston, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Katie Counts, Stephen Easter, Cindy Mills, and David, Luke, and Adam Gilmore; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon E.Gilmore.Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Centeral Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor David Easter officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
