Carol Sue Sutton

Carol Sue Sutton 58, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born July 23, 1955 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of Dorothy Sturm Butcher of Vienna and the late Clyde Butcher.Carol was a 1973 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a graduate of Parkersburg Community College and Concord College with a degree in early childhood education. She had worked as an education coordinator for West Virginia Head Start and at the Child Care Resource Network in Marietta, Ohio. Carol also worked at the YMCA of Parkersburg where she was a pre-school teacher and was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Daniel F. Sutton; her mother, Dorothy Butcher of Vienna,W.Va.; her sister, Deborah Williams (Lynn) of Union City, Indiana; her brother, James M. Butcher (Laura) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; her mother-in-law, Anna C. Sutton of Vienna, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her father, Clyde Butcher, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marc L. Butcher; and her father-in-law, Frederick L. Sutton.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
