Blaine B. “Caveman” Holskey Jr., 65, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away peacefully on March 26, 2011 after an extended illness.He was born on March 8, 1946, in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of the late Blaine Burt Holskey Sr. and Mabel Wyatt Holskey.Blaine was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served three tours in Vietnam.He was a Green Beret and received five purple hearts and numerous other badges.He was a retired master electrician and an inactive member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) of Marietta, Ohio.He is survived by his wife Deborah Blankenship Holskey; three daughters, Ellen Lee (Darron) of Tampa Bay, Fla., Krissy Holskey (Roger) of Zanesville, and Amanda Blankenship of Parkersburg; three sons, Blaine B. Holskey III (Stacy) and Mike Holskey (Brenda), both of Zanesville, and Matt Blankenship of Parkersburg; three brothers, Dan Holskey, John Holskey and Randy Holskey, all of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Garrett, Kyle, Dylan, Blaine, Hayley, Kaitlynne, Austin, Tori, Josey, Kylie, Maddie, Roger, Justice, Anna, Katanna, Cayden and Kazia; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brett, Cody and Kayla.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April, 1, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
