Beulah Kathleen Cooper of Parkersburg, W.Va. formerly of Elizabeth, W.Va. passed away January 5, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born May 26, 1927 in Walker, W.Va. a daughter of the late George and Freeda Beha McLaughlin. She had attended Beulah Hill Presbyterian Church and Beechwood Presbyterian Church. She was a 4-H leader for 19 years. She was a life member of the CampBarb Association and Farm Womans Club and CEOs. She enjoyed quilting and had exhibited quilts since 1959 at the Wirt County Fair. She was a homemaker and was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by a daughter, Ruby Lea Cooper (Randy Crowder) of Ashtabula, Ohio; two sons, David R. Cooper (Sheri) of Cadiz, KY and Gary E. Cooper (Barbara) of Charleston, W.Va.; a granddaughter, Cynthia Logan of Newark, W.Va.; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; a brother, Dale McLaughlin (Nora Jane) of Walker, W.Va.; three sisters, Virginia (Charles) Hewitt, Veletta Hitt, and Connie (Eddie) Sears all of Walker, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ritchie E. Cooper; a sister, Evelyn Hewitt; and a brother, Dallas McLaughlin.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Rick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias in Elizabeth, W.Va. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
