She is survived by her three sons and five grandchildren: Thomas Samuel Fragale, his wife Lisa and their daughter, Haley of Sugar Land, TX.; Timothy Lee Fragale, his wife Lee Ann and their sons, Brandon and Chase of Vienna, WV; and Joseph Patrick Fragale, his fiancée Marcie and his sons, Andrew and David of Parkersburg, WV; and Betty's brother, Lester Vernon O'Quinn and his wife Jane of Elkton, MD.Betty was born to Orville Early O'Quinn and Gay Smith O'Quinn on August 15, 1935 in Calvin, West Virginia. She married the love of her life, Angelo Fragale on January 9, 1953 and was married to him for 53 years before he preceded her in death in 2006. In her life, Betty graduated at the top of her high school class at East Bank High School and later worked as sales representative at JCPenneys, while helping raise her three sons. Betty's greatest passions were reading and poetry. Betty leaves behind numerous novels, from which she could never part, and a lifetime's worth of her own poetry. She was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church and her humor and brilliance will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her, as she now walks into heaven, we share one of her poems:A WALK INTO SPRINGOnce again in the cycles of time, The harsh winds of winterSubside into the gentle winds of spring.I walk into the wind to free my face From its feeling of sand.A welcome gale of April runs by my side.It seems to whisper my name.The webs of winter are washed away. Gone with the sand.I see the sun shines around the rimOf the rain, creating the promiseOf a rainbow.I walk into a clear tomorrow!In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her three brothers, Lee, Jack, and Charles O'Quinn. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Chad Mugrage officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Saturday, February 9, at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the Wood County Society, Dils Center, 521 Market St., Box 19, Parkersburg, WV 26101 in memory of Betty.Condolences may be sent to the Fragale family at www.lamberttatman.com
