Bernice Opal Deem

Bernice Opal Deem, 93 of Vienna, W.Va., daughter of the late Charles and Emma Dorst Powell passed away September 13, 2011 at her residence.She is survived by two sons; Roger L.Deem (Mary) of Belpre, Ohio, and Darrell E. Deem (Cherie) of Vienna, W.Va.; one daughter, Sharon Gilbert of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, Pearl L. Powell of Vienna, W.Va., and Ruby E. Brewer of Long Bottom, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sandra K. Vincent (John) of Vincent, Ohio, Edward P. Deem (Cathy) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Charles E. Deem of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Tracy L. Mason (Kevin)of Moundsville, W.Va.; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Vincent, Andrew Vincent, Zac Deem, Jadon Deem, Hunter Mason, and Sierra Mason; one niece, Janie Fitch; and her beloved dog, “Nicki”.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H.(Jake) Deem in 1997.Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Roger Varnick officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
