Date and Time of Service: No Service – Southposted 7/29/2010 at 10:22:36 AMBarry Lynn McCartney, 63, of Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Marietta, Ohio, passed away July 26, 2010 at Parkersburg Care and Rehab Center.He was born October 1, 1946, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Glen Noble and Verah Mildred Fowler McCartney.Barry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked in the Circulation Department of the Parkersburg News and Sentinel.He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Moore of Belpre, Ohio; and one son, Shawn McCartney of Pittsburgh, Pa.Visitation will be on Friday, July 30, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg. There will be no service and interment will be at the convenience of the family at the WV National Cemetery, Grafton, W.Va.
