Barbara Ann Winters

September 1, 1936 — June 27, 2020

Barbara Ann Winters, 83, of Vienna, passed away peacefully in her own home, on her own terms, surrounded by her loved ones and fur Babies, on June 27, 2020 Barbara got “hitched”, at the age of 15 to Richard Donivan Winters, and remained faithful and true to him for 58 years, until his death in 2010. Anna Louise, Richard Donivan, Jr, Sandra Kay, Michael Edward, Thomas William, James Patrick and Daniel Brian were products of their love for one another. She was a great mother who made many sacrifices and would do anything for her children, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She was “ALWAYS” there for them, no matter where “there” may be. More so she was a very good person with a heart of gold. Barbara was always involved in school and community fundraisers. It was absolutely a no-no to buy a store bought cake for school cake-walks or community ice-cream socials. It had to be home-made. Fraternal organizations had her number on speed dial when calling for donations. Her love, kind soul, compassionate heart, quick wit, and feisty banter, will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The world was a much better place with her in it, but she’ll fill our hearts and souls with fond, loving memories forever. Per Barbara’s wishes, no official ceremony will be held. The family however, plans to hold a “Celebration” of her life at a later date, where friends and family can share stories and tales of Barbara’s antics. Goodbye mom, you will be missed and fondly remembered. Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Crematory is honored to assist the Winter’s with her arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.lamberttatman.com.
