Barbara “Helene” Hescht, 52 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Nov. 11, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.She was born April 21, 1961 in Parkersburg, a daughter of James and Barbara Burns Adams of Parkersburg. Helene attended Parkersburg South High School and worked for 32 years at the Broadway Sandwich Shop. She enjoyed shooting pool, was a member of V.E.N.A. and B.C.A. 8 Ball Billiard Leagues and a member of the 14th Ave Gospel Mission Church. Helena was a loving wife, mother and she enjoyed her family and her special pet dogs, Lady, Bella and Toby.She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Marc A. Hescht; son, Joe Hescht (Michelle McCord) of Belleville, W.Va.; sister, Shuana Miller of Parkersburg; two brothers, James Adams and Shane Adams both of Belleville, W.Va.; half-brother, Allen Williamson (Betty) of Sumerco, W.Va.; grandchild, Ryan (Hescht) Sutton; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Howerton (Phil) and Lisa Cornell all of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg with Tom Leasure officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
