Barbara A. Diclemente, 76, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away December 10, 2012 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. She was born December 17, 1935 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late “C.B.” Claude B. and Adnel G. Holbert Petty.Barbara was a homemaker and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. She was a member of the American Legion, DAV, AMVETS, Eastern Star, White Shrine, the Order of the Amarath, The Wood County Democratic Womens Club, and The American Dog Groomers Association. She was also a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Vienna.Surviving is her son, Gary Diclemente, of Vienna, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Matthew Diclemente of Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica Diclemente Retherford of Madison, W.Va., and Rebecca Diclemente Drain of Morgantown, W.Va.; two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Chloe Retherford; one sister, Christine Diclemente of Gallipolis, OH; and one brother, Michael Petty of Lexington, SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Petty.In keeping with Barbara's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral ceremony. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society, 29th and Poplar Streets, Parkersburg, W.Va., 26102.
