Audry Maxine “Sis” Handschumacher, 71, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away January 5, 2012 at Camden Clark Hospital, Memorial Campus.She was born January 12, 1940 a daughter of the late Oriville and Jane Morrison Lewis. She was a graduate of Cowan High School. She had worked for several years as a dietician at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital and retired from Western Hills-Health South as a dietician. She was a member of East United Methodist Church of Vienna.Maxine is survived by one daughter, Jill N. Lattea (Chris) of Vienna, W.Va.; one son, Rick Handschumacher of Vienna, W.Va.; a granddaughter whom she raised, Amanda Whitehead (Justin) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Peggy Currance (Delbert), and Linda Bruffy (Pat) both of Webster County, W.Va.; two brothers, Bill Lewis (Sue) of Webster Co. and Larry Lewis (Kathy) of Vienna, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Jed Montgomery, Maddyson Lattea, and Ricky Handschumacher; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey Whitehead and Brooklin Whitehead.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Handschumacher; and one brother, Fred Lewis.There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
