Ashley Ann Mcdermott

Ashley Ann McDermott, 32, of Vienna, West Virginia, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, the 18th day of May, 2020. She was born on December 19, 1987, in Parkersburg, WV, to Shona and Michael McDermott of Vienna, WV. She grew up in Williamstown, where she attended grade school through high school. She was most recently attending school at WSCC in Marietta, Ohio, where she had plans of becoming a nurse. Ashley just finished strong last semester with a 4.0 GPA. Ashley was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, niece, and friend to many. She was a loving and compassionate person who helped others before herself. Her smile could warm your soul without saying a word. Ashley most enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Aubrie Alene Kendall, who she adored. There was nothing that she loved more than being with her sweet girl. Ashley was resilient and always found a way to make light of any situation. She had a contagious laugh and beautiful singing voice. We love her deeply and she will be sorely missed. Please join our family in the remembrance of her life. Surviving her are (Mother and Father) Shona and Michael McDermott, (Daughter) Aubrie Alene Kendall, (Brother) Travis and Heather McDermott, (Brother) Nathan McDermott, all of Vienna WV, and (Sister) Chelsea McDermott of SC. (Grandparents) Sonja and Jack Hose of Morgantown, WV and (Grandmother) Margaret McDermott of Barlow, Ohio. (Aunt and Uncle) Dan and Kimberly McDermott, (Aunt and Uncle) Jim and Deb McDermott, (Aunt and Uncle) Vickie and Brian Treadway, (Aunt and Uncle) Shelly and Mark Willis. Ashley also leaves behind her sweet nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins. There will be a viewing at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna, WV, on Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. The family will be having a separate burial service at a later date.
