Armada E. Rollins

Armada E. “Tudy” Rollins of Belpre, Ohio passed away, Monday, February 17, 2014.She was born June 18, 1924 in Cutler, Ohio, a daughter of the late Esmond & Pearl Root Welch. She lived over 60 years in Belpre and retired from A&P and Foodland stores. Tudy enjoyed watching red birds and the Atlanta Braves. She was a Methodist by faith.Tudy is survived by three grandsons, Jesse Rollins and his wife Megan of Zanesville, Ohio, Jason Rollins and his wife Kelley of Belpre, Ohio and Charles Rollins of Boardman, Ohio; two step-grandchildren, Daniel Maynard of Columbus, Ohio and Darla Morehouse of Belpre, Ohio; one niece, Donna Swain of Columbus, Ohio; three nephews, Gilbert Metcalf of Columbus, Ohio, Larry Metcalf of Vermillion, Ohio and Martin Welch of Marietta, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Ella Rollins, Samuel Rollins, Kaylen Rollins and Alexis Rollins; several great nieces and nephews, Karen Myers, Christine Shelskey, Mary Brown, and Romona Roof; and a special friend, Jean Radabaugh, of Waterford, Ohio.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Cecil Rollins, in 1984; her son, Charles Rollins in 1997; her sister Mona and her brother Paul.Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre.Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.
