Ann F. Kidwiler

Ann F. KidwilerAnn F. Kidwiler, of Vienna departed this life on April 2, 2014 at Marietta Center, Marietta, Ohio.Ann was born in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence L. Leasure and the late Felsia (Bee) Leasure Ruble. The family moved back to Parkersburg when Ann was 4 years old.Ann graduated from Parkersburg High School with the January Class of 1943. She worked for many years as a secretary in the medical field. She was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church. In 1976 Ann joined the American Legion Auxiliary Post. She was very active in volunteering in many ways to help the veterans. She was also a volunteer at the local VA Outpatient Clinic for over 12 years with over 2,000 hours of volunteer service.She is survived by her sons, Gary Leigh Sovel of North Carolina and John Jeffrey Kidwiler of Vienna; one sister, Helen L. Leasure of Parkersburg; one brother, Donald B. Leasure of Vienna; four grand-daughters, Shelley Kidwiler of Vienna, Jessica Sovel of Connecticut, Dani Leigh Sovel of Florida and Paula Hall of Columbus, Ohio; three great-grandsons, Aidan Kidwiler of Vienna, Leigh Sovel of Colorado and Shawn Kidwiler of Parkersburg as well as several great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kidwiler; her son, Michael A. Sovel and her sister Nelma L. Morehead.Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:00 Noonat Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, WV. with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 at the funeral home.
