Alva Donald Riggs,

Alva D. “Donnie” Riggs Jr., 55 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away August 4, 2013 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born June 26, 1958 in Parkersburg a son of the late Alva D. Riggs Sr. and Mazel B. Barnett Riggs. He had worked at Shoney's and was a Catholic by faith.Donnie is survived by three sons, Donnie Boyd, Jared Riggs, and Derrick Riggs all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Lorraine Riggs of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three brothers, Roger L. Kelley of Parkersburg, W.Va., Clarence E. Kelley ofBuchanan, W.Va., and Martin K. Riggs of Cleveland, Ohio.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters, Melisha Boyd and Hannah Riggs.A memorial service will be held 11:00 Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va.
