Alma Velma “Jane” Lemley, 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 2, 2013 at her residence with her loving daughter Becky at her side.She was born Sept. 14, 1936, in Ritchie Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Norf and Alma Waggoner Nelson.Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading the newspaper, traveling and spending time with her family whom she loved so much.She is survived by her children, Linda (Kenny) Cottrill of Reedy, W.Va., Rodney (Susan) Lemley of Walker, W.Va., Joyce Cottrell and Rebecca (Alan) Snider, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Cecelia (Russell) Bell of Ravenna, Ohio and Rozetta (Denzil) Goodnight of Walker, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Edmond Lemley in 2010; one great-grandson, Wyatt Lemley; and her siblings, Jimmy Nelson, Claude Nelson, Mary Mackey, Ernest Nelson, Lloyd Nelson, Charles Nelson and Patricia Nelson.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Richard McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Freeport Cemetery in Wirt County, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.Following committal services on Friday, family and friends are invited to join in a meal and fellowship at the Gospel Tabernacle Church, 4th Avenue off Pike Street, south Parkersburg.
