Aaron Michael Cronin, 17, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on January 8, 2014 at his residence.He was born February 1, 1996, in Port Jefferson, N.Y., a son of Christina Cronin Stanley and the late Paul Daniel Cronin and his step-father, Greg Stanley of Mineral Wells.He was a senior at Parkersburg South High School where he was a member of the Jazz Band and the Concert Band. He was a singer and a songwriter. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.In addition to his parents, he is survived by five siblings, Kimberly Maloney (Tom) of Phoenix, Ariz.; Jason Cronin of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jennifer Cronin of Asheville, N.C., Ashley Cronin of Rexburg, Idaho and Alex Cronin of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; three step-siblings, Tiffany Stanley of Mineral Wells, W.Va. Beau Stanley (Tanessa) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Davey Stanley of Minneapolis, Minn.; one grandmother, Alice Haynes of Florida; his grandparents, Vernon and Shirley Stanley of Parkersburg; his girlfriend, Anna Gordon of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Haynes; grandmother, Mildred Cronin; and grandfather, Paul Cronin Sr.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Bishop Miles Bohning officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
